About Dennis
At the age of 19, I almost bought my first rental property in Madison, WI, where I was raised. Fortunately, Uncle Sam had other ideas and sent me to 32nd Street Naval Station, San Diego, for 4 years. I looked around and said, "This is a great place to live," and bought my first home with a VA loan while in the Navy. Since then, I have bought and sold several residences and investment properties for myself & family, along with over 400 for clients in San Diego County since 1994. I have extensive Local Knowledge and Expertise from assisting investors, buyers & sellers in San Diego County.
My wife and Transaction Coordinator, Sunshine Smith, has been licensed here since 1998. When you hire me, you get over 50 years of local experience. I work differently from most agents. Although you found me online, over 75% of my business comes from repeat and referral clients. Because I do not do cold calling, door-knocking, or floor time like most agents, I have more time to devote to our buyers and sellers before, during, and after the transaction. This enhances the level of service I provide to the limited number of clients I choose to work with.
I started Buffini business coaching - Working by Referral - in 2003 and have attended over 50 events where I am known as “The BackScratcher Man”.
I am active in the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, and our church.
