Calvin's childhood was spent in rural Blythe, where he worked on a farm until he came to San Diego in 1972. After graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in business and psychology, Calvin entered the real estate field, where he found his niche and went on to become a top seller - even in his first year! Like Thomas A. Edison once said, Calvin believes that "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." Calvin is not afraid of hard work. He always goes above and beyond for his clients. He does what it takes, including spending endless hours promoting listings and helping clients find homes and qualify for loans - all while watching out for what's best for them. For example, Calvin makes sure buyers do not ever overextend themselves financially to get a house, even in today's competitive market. This is one of the many reasons why Calvin's clients always come back to him and even see him as family.

Over the years, Calvin has sold over $350 million worth of housing and participated in over $215 million in loan originations - all while making sure that each transaction is done to everyone's satisfaction. Thanks to his great work ethic, marketing knowledge, and trade skills, Calvin has long since been inducted into the Real Estate Hall of Fame and has consistently earned every award in the books, several times over. Outside of work, Calvin enjoys spending time with his wife and six cats. He also enjoys being socially responsible. For example, he supports the Komen Foundation & Children's Miracle Network.
